The Willink is a successful and oversubscribed school. It has 1030 students on roll including 170 in the Sixth Form, and is situated in a pleasant semi-rural setting south west of Reading. The school was judged to be good with outstanding features by Ofsted in 2014. GCSE results in 2016 placed us in the top 10% of similar schools nationally. In September 2017 The Willink became a Teaching School.

Teacher of Religious Education & PSHE

Part-time / Full time
Start Date: September 2018

We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, motivated and inspirational teacher of Religious Education and PSHE. The two subjects are combined as a Personal, Social & Religious Education (PSRE) programme taught across the school. Most students take RE to GCSE level. Applications are invited from ITT as well as more experienced colleagues. This post is for one academic year, in the first instance due to organisational change. As a Teaching School we can offer the successful candidate excellent support and professional development.

 EXAMINATIONS INVIGILATORS

We are now recruiting Invigilators to help with the smooth running of Examinations which take place throughout the year. Skills and knowledge required include:

  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to deal with confidential and sensitive matters 

Invigilators will be required to have an enhanced DBS check and attend mandatory Child Protection Training [this will be arranged by the Willink School]. 

Invigilation work is available on an ad hoc basis to cover the needs of the examinations at various times during the school year. Hours are 08.30am start for morning exams and 12.50pm for afternoon exams, which may run on after 3.00pm.

Hourly rate: £9.02
