The Willink is a successful and oversubscribed school with a strong international ethos, listed in the top ten non-selective schools in Berkshire in 2019. The school has 1250 students on roll including 220 in the Sixth Form, and is situated in a pleasant semi-rural setting south west of Reading.

We have experience and expertise in Initial Teacher Training and professional development and are a strategic partner to the Teaching School Hub Berkshire. The Willink is the lead school for the Mobius Maths Hub – a national centre for excellence in the teaching and leadership of mathematics education.

We currently have the following positions available at our school:

Teacher of Humanities (with specialism in History)

  • Full-time and Fixed Term (with potential to become permanent)
  • MPR/UPR, Required September 2024 or earlier

We are seeking an inspirational classroom practitioner with strong subject knowledge in History. The successful candidate will teach to GCSE level with the opportunity of A level teaching. There is also the opportunity to teach politics or religious education.

We require a committed colleague with a real passion for the provision of quality and imaginative teaching to join an experienced, supportive and high achieving Science Department Faculty. Psychology, Criminology and Sociology is taught to A Level. We are looking for a specialist Sociology teacher who can teach other disciplines – this is particularly so for a full-time post.

Mobius Maths Hub Vacancies:

Assistant Maths Hub Lead Vacancy - Secondary & Post-16

We are currently inviting applications for the position of Assistant Maths Hub Lead, commencing from September 2024, These roles would be on a secondment or funded basis.

We are expanding our leadership capacity by seeking up to two candidates for these exciting roles of Secondary and Post 16 Leads. The positions offers flexibility, with commitments ranging from 0.5 to 1.5 days per week, to be negotiated with successful applicant.
