The Willink is a successful and oversubscribed school. It has 1224 students on roll including 200 in the Sixth Form, and is situated in a pleasant semi-rural setting south west of Reading. The school received an excellent Ofsted report in June 2018.

We have experience and expertise in Initial Teacher Training and professional development and are a strategic partner to the Teaching School Hub Berkshire. The Willink is the lead school for the Mobius Maths Hub – a national centre for excellence in the teaching and leadership of mathematics education.

Teacher of Religious Education

Full-time (Part-time considered), MPR, for September 2022

We are seeking an inspirational classroom practitioner with strong subject knowledge to join our experienced, supportive and high achieving Humanities Faculty.

The post is to teach predominantly RE with some PSHEE. The ability and desire to teach Social Sciences e.g. Criminology or Sociology at Post 16 is desirable, though not essential.

Religious Education at Willink is taught at GCSE and A level.

We warmly welcome applications from ITT colleagues and more experienced practitioners. A leadership allowance is available to applicants with relevant experience and expertise. A part-time position would be considered.

We are looking to appoint a House Coordinator. The role is to lead, energise and develop the school’s new House system and co-ordinate a programme of House activities across the school working with the Heads of Learning, Heads of Department and the School Council.   This post will suit a dynamic teacher who is keen to play a significant role in leading the development and implementation of this important school initiative. We are seeking to appoint a pro-active and highly skilled individual to the post of PR & Marketing Manager. The post combines working for The Willink School and The Mobius Maths Hub, to develop, implement and monitor a communications and marketing strategy to ensure information and news about the school/maths hub are effectively promoted using a range of digital and print platforms. Previous working in an educational establishment is not essential.
